Thanks Tony. You’re right, I’ve been focusing a lot on ecommerce lately, but recall certainly matters a lot for a lot of other areas. Prior art search is a canonical example of a broader set of research use case. Recall is also important to both sides of talent marketplaces, i.e., finding people and finding jobs. So yes, recall matters, and not just for ecommerce! :-)
